Our
Family
We believe new mothers should be cared for with the same love and attention they give their babies. That’s why we started this little kitchen — to nourish, support, and comfort mums through their postpartum journey, one warm meal at a time.
At the heart of our kitchen is Aunty Lily. She’s from Ipoh, Perak, and has over 20 years of experience as a traditional confinement nanny across Malaysia and Singapore. She’s spent most of her life living in with families, caring for mums and babies during their first 30–40 days. Her hands have prepared countless bowls of nourishing soups, warming teas, and home-cooked meals that help a mother’s body recover from birth.
Aunty Lily’s cooking is deeply rooted in Malaysian Chinese confinement practices. She works with ingredients like old ginger, black fungus, sesame oil, goji berries, red dates, rice wine, wolfberries, and dang gui — all known to help with circulation, reduce “wind”, boost energy, and support milk production. Her meals are comforting, familiar, and always balanced between traditional herbs and natural flavours. She knows when to add a touch of warmth, when to go light, and how to keep things digestible and nourishing.
Now in Perth, she leads our team in a licensed, council-approved kitchen, cooking fresh every morning using local ingredients and carefully selected herbs.
We also believe every mum is different — so we customise where we can. If you need extra lactation boosters, prefer no offal or wine, want your meals lighter, or just have certain dislikes, just let us know. We’re here to support you, and we’ll do our best to make your meals the way you need them.

Less Oil
We keep it light. Most dishes are steamed or gently cooked with just enough oil—easy on your digestion and perfect for postpartum recovery.
Less Salt
Flavour doesn’t need to come from salt. We let natural ingredients like red dates, ginger and goji berries bring out the taste, while keeping things gentle on your body.
No added MSG
No flavour enhancers, no funny stuff. Just real, nourishing ingredients. Everything’s made from scratch the traditional way—how it should be.
